Geeks on a Plane, grupa u kojoj su neki od najutjecajnijih američkih investitora i internetskih poduzetnika, uskoro planiraju posjetiti istočnu Europu, a poziv im je na Facebooku ostavio i predsjednik Ivo Josipovć.
Njihov cilj je upoznati startupe, investitore i ostale u cijelom svijetu te učiti i širiti znanja o trendovima na internetu te novim mobilnim i drugim tehnologijama, ali i otkriti nova tržišta i poslovne modele.Kako je za GOAP koji je pokrenuo Dave McClure iz 500Startupsa, počela lobirati i Varšava, u akciju su se uključili i brojni hrvatski i regionalni startupi, među kojima i Matija Kopić iz Farmerona, s ciljem da se GOAP približi Hrvatskoj ili Balkanu. Akciju je podržao i Ivo Josipović koji je u poruci Daveu McClureu napisao kako je ovo područje posljednjih godina središte brojnih inovativnih projekata koji su privukli interes investitora.
